Profile

Bruce Patterson practices all areas of intellectual property law and heads the firm's trademark section. He specializes in counseling companies within the automotive, hand tool and oilfield services area of the energy industry.

 

Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Bruce was a Clerk for the Texas Court of Appeals and then served as Counsel in the Patent and Trademark section of Cooper Industries where he managed the international trademark portfolios of the Champion Spark Plug and Cameron Iron Works divisions.

 

Bruce is a long time, active member of the International Trademark Association, and he frequently directs activity with European and Asian law firms to secure and protect intellectual property rights for firm clients.
