Steve VerSteeg joined the firm in 2005. He practices patent law with an emphasis on patent prosecution in the chemical arts for both domestic and international clients in industries such as oil and gas, semiconductor manufacturing, mechanical devices, and chemical products. He provides litigation and opinion support on cases related to polymer hydrogenation processes, medical devices for medical sample testing as well as international patent prosecution matters. Prior to joining the firm, Steve was employed as a primary patent examiner in the United States Patent & Trademark Office, primarily examining PVD processes and apparatus. With this experience, Steve was able to serve potential clients of the firm by offering a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) class called Patent Examination: How a Patent Examiner Handles Your Case.
