Sean Serraguard joined the firm in 2011 and assists clients in many areas of intellectual property prosecution. Sean graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and from The University of Michigan Medical School in 2007 with an Master of Science in Pharmacology where his work focused on novel drug research and signal transduction in breast and colon cancer. Sean earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2011 where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. Prior to joining Patterson & Sheridan, Sean was a patent and trademark attorney in a boutique prosecution firm focused primarily on serving the oil and gas industry. Sean has represented clients in a wide variety of technical specialties ranging from pharmaceuticals/gene therapeutics to oil and gas extraction to semiconductor manufacturing.
