Profile

Nick Carr joined the firm in 2011 following the completion of his clerkship with the Honorable Sarah Parker, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.  Nick’s practice focuses primarily on patent preparation and prosecution, and specializes in the area of computer science.  He has extensive experience as an application developer, web programmer, and database administrator.  Nick received his B.S. with Honors in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with Distinction Honors.  He also earned an M.S. in Information Science from UNC, and his J.D., summa cum laude, from North Carolina Central University.
