Profile

Nan Carr joined the firm in 2005. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications with an emphasis on semiconductor processing, mechanical engineering, and computer software/hardware. Prior to her legal career, Nan Carr was a Robert A. Welch research fellow at Rice University where she conducted research on hydrogen induced failures in metals, and thermodynamic and kinetic behaviors of hydrogen in solid solutions. Her graduate research included modeling, simulation and optimization of semiconductor processing.
