Keith Jaasma joined the firm in 2008 with a wealth of experience in litigation. His background includes intellectual property litigation, appellate law, antitrust, labor and employment, and general commercial litigation. Keith has litigated patent cases regarding technologies such as polyolefin production, fracturing fluid, drill bits, pipelines, oilfield equipment, deepwater platform technology, computer networks, and razor blades. He has also handled copyright cases regarding computer software and architectural plans. Keith's clients are both domestic and international corporations, and he has assisted clients with matters in front of the European Patent Office as well as with cases in Brazil, Mexico, Norway, and Singapore. While in law school, Keith was selected to the Order of the Coif and was an editor for the UCLA Law Review as well as a founder and co-editor-in-chief of the UCLA Entertainment Law Review. After law school, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Wiggins of the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Keith previously worked as an attorney at Baker Botts and Slusser Wilson & Partridge, one of the premier intellectual property litigation boutiques in Texas.
