Chad Dougherty joined the firm in 2007. Chad graduated from Penn State University in 2006 with B.S. in chemical engineering. While attending Penn State University, he focused on the industrial application of bioprocessing methods, including protein engineering and genetic expression. Between semesters at Penn State, Chad had multiple internships with major engineering firms, where he received exposure to process plant design as well as mechanical design and troubleshooting. His patent practice includes the drafting and prosecution of foreign and domestic patents relating to semiconductor manufacturing, mechanical devices, and chemical products, as well as litigation research support. Chad earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2009, receiving several academic honors and awards.
