Bret has special expertise in software development, specifically with client, server and database applications and server-based security. Bret is proficient in C++, C#, VB and Java, has a comprehensive understanding of PHP, SQL and J2EE, and has experience working with Apple, Linux, Unix and Windows environments. Upon graduating from UCI, Bret founded the startup LineLeap, where he designed and implemented an architecture for an online and mobile ordering system for restaurants. At LineLeap, Bret worked extensively with partner companies to enhance the service, including the POS companies Micros and ALOHA, SMS service provider Mobile Cause, and financial service providers First Data and Authorize.net. While at UCI, Bret worked at Acquisition Group, Inc. as a financial software developer and consultant.
